A woman who spent five decades searching for her birth mother has revealed her joy after finally seeing a photograph of her. Katherine Fletcher, 61, who lives in Yorkshire with her husband and their grown-up son, enjoyed a happy childhood with her parents and two older brothers. At the age of seven, however, her mother told her that she was adopted, changing the course of her life forever.
